He pointed out a problem, but with questionable solution.

"Students should now rely on leaked exam questions" he said. But what make the examination so important that even the student know that it is wrong to do so but they still do it?

Is the system.

So, instead of pointing the finger to the students, should he point at the system first?

I think what Mai trying to deliver is this:
'to die with a good name' is not how high your socioeconomic status is, but what difference(s) have u made in other's lives. For example, it doesn't matter what car model or how high class it is that you're driving, but what matters most is how many people u have fetched or ferried (some sort like this kua). Another meaning is quite ambiguous.. maybe doing things rightfully? and not pretending or backstabbing? o_0
